قدمت عائشة نسخة كريمة من القرآن إلى مايكل جاكسون وعندما مد يده لتسلم المصحف سألته الفتاة هل انت جنب ؟
قال ماذا تقصدين ؟

شرحت له عائشة كيفية التطهر مما أثار عجبه وجذب انتباهه بعد ذلك تسلم جاكسون المصحف الشريف من عائشة وغاب عنها لعدة اسابيع ثم اتصل بها تلفونياً واخبرها بأن هناك اخبار سارة لها

جرائم الغرب الآسيوية/ فيتنام
بهذه الكلمات المعبرة وصف الرئيس الأمريكى ليندون جونسون الحرب فى فيتنام والتى كان هو الذى إنزلق إليها بل وسعى إلى إشعالها بحادثة خليج تونكن التى إتضح فيما بعد أنها كانت مجرد ذريعة لدخول أمريكا حربا إعتقد جنرالاتها أنها نزهة تنتهى سريعا بنصر خاطف فتحولت بفعل الغطرسة والعجز عن إستيعاب دروس التاريخ إلى مستنقع غرق فيه الجيش الأمريكى وأغرق معه المجتمع الأمريكى بأسره لمدة 8 سنوات كاملة مما كلف الرئيس جونسون منصبه حيث إضطر إلى التخلى عن الترشح لفترة رئاسة أصلية ثانية وأضاع تاريخه السياسى الحافل بالإصلاحات الداخلية وجعل منه رئيسا إرتبط إسمه بالفشل وسوء التقدير والأكاذيب. فما هى القصة؟
منذ نجحت فرنسا فى بسط سيادتها على تلك المنطقة فى منتصف القرن التاسع عشر نشأ ما عرف فيما بعد بالهند الصينية الفرنسية حيث كانت تلك المنطقة التى تشمل كمبوديا وفيتنام ولاوس تقع محشورة بين الهند البريطانية والصين ولهذا سميت الهند الصينية. وكانت الثورات والقلاقل تقع ضد الإحتلال الفرنسى على فترات متقاربة ولكن الفرنسيين كانوا بوجه عام قادرين على الإحتفاظ بالمستعمرة حتى قامت الحرب العالمية الثانية. وهذه الحرب العالمية التى بدأت فى أوروبا نتج عنها هزيمة سريعة لفرنسا أمام الجيوش الألمانية وبالتالى أصبحت مستعمراتها واقعة تحت سلطة الحكومة الفرنسية الموالية لألمانيا، حكومة فيشى. ولما كانت ألمانيا حليفة لليابان فقد نتج عن ذلك أن الفرنسيين المحليين فى الهند الصينية تحالفوا مع اليابانيين لإدارة البلاد مما أثار عليهم حفيظة أهلها حيث أن اليابانيين لم يكنوا أبدا من أصحاب القلوب الرحيمة فى إحتلالهم للبلاد التى قاموا باحتلالها. كذلك فإنه من الغرائب أن نتج عن ذلك تشكيل تنظيم (الفيات منه) الذى كان ماركسيا يحارب اليابانيين بأموال أمريكية، حيث أن أمريكا كانت تمول كل من يقف ضد اليابان ليعجل بنصرها !! (تكرر هذا النموذج فيما بعد أثناء الحرب الباردة فمولت أمريكا تنظيمات إسلامية متطرفة لتساعد على هزيمة الشيوعية ثم إنقلبت عليهم بعد النصر فأصبحوا أعداءا).. وقبيل نهاية الحرب تم تحرير فرنسا وأصبحت حكومة باريس مناوئة لألمانيا ومن ثم مناوئة أيضا لليابان مما جعل اليابانيين يقررون التخلص من الحكم الفرنسى أو الشريك الفرنسى فى الحكم فقاموا باعتقال جميع المسئولين الفرنسيين وأصبحت البلاد فى يد يابانية خالصة. إلا أن هذا الوضع لم يكتب له الدوام فقد هزمت اليابان بسرعة واستسلمت بعد أيام قليلة من إلقاء قنبلتى هيروشيما وناجازاكى وعادت فرنسا قوة إستعمارية فى الهند الصينية. ولكن قطار الزمان لا يعود إلى الوراء، فقد كانت الشعوب قد تنبهت إلى حقيقة الإستعمار وأثره فى سلب ثروات البلاد وإنشاء مجتمع أوليجاركى وطنى محلى يحظى بكل شىء بينما باقى أفراد الشعب ليس لهم نصيب فى شىء. وهكذا بدات حركة مناهضة الإستعمار الفرنسى تشتد عودا وتقوى تسليحا بالذات فى ظل الإنقسام الدولى الذى صاحب نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية وبزوغ الإتحاد السوفيتى قوة عظمى تحولت بعد قليل إلى قوة ذرية تنافس الولايات المتحدة وتناطحها رأسا برأس. وهكذا نشأت فكرة الإستقلال عن فرنسا وكان رئيس منظمة الفيات منه هو القائد التاريخى هوشى منه الذى أعلن عن قيام دولة فيتنام الحرة بعد نهاية الحرب مباشرة. وكانت العواطف متأججة والشعور القومى فى أوجه فانضمت أعداد كبيرة لمنظمة الفيات منه ونجحت فى بسط نفوذها على كامل فيتنام حيث أن الحكومة الفرنسية التى خرجت لتوها من مهانة الإحتلال الألمانى لم تكن بعد تقوى على الوقوف فى مواجهة ضد تلك المنظمة ذات الروح القتالية المرتفعة والتى تمرست خلال الحرب على عمليات العصابات والهجمات السريعة والإختفاء والتمويه والإستفادة من المميزات الطبوجرافية وحفر الخنادق إلى أربعة أدوار تحت الأرض وإخفاء السلاح وكلها مميزات لم يحسب حسابها كل من وقف ضد هذه الجبهة فيما أعقب ذلك من أحداث.
وكما كان الحال فى كوريا وقع أمر مشابه فى فيتنام. فقد إتفق الفريقان المنتصران فى الحرب العالمية فى البداية على أن فيتنام هى من مناطق النفوذ الغربى (الفرنسى) ولكن نظرا لعدم قدرة فرنسا فى ذلك الوقت تم تقسيم البلاد بين الصين الوطنية شمالا والإنجليز جنوبا. وكان خط التقسيم – كما فى كوريا أيضا – هو خط عرض جغرافى لا أساس له. وفى حالة فيتنام كان هو خط العرض 17. وبعد قليل كان الفرنسيون قد أعادوا تنظيم قوتهم فاحتلوا مدينة هانوى فى الشمال والتى كانت معقل الحركة الشيوعية بقيادة منظمة فيات منه.
ولا ينسى المرء أن يذكر هنا أن هوشى منه قائد الفيات منه والمتعلم فى فرنسا فى بداية العشرينات من القرن العشرين كان من أوائل من تنبهوا إلى الدور الهائل للتعليم فى إنشاء الدول فكان هدفه منذ البداية محو الأمية وكان هذا عاملا مميزا لفيتنام عن كل الدول المشابهة لها أو التى تقع حولها.
وكما كان الحال أيضا فى كوريا فقد مثل العام 1949 نقطة تحول هائلة فى كل تاريخ القرن العشرين وهو العام الذى شهد تفجير أول قنبلة ذرية سوفيتية وصعود الحزب الشيوعى الصينى ليمسك بالسلطة على أكبر تجمع سكانى على وجه الأرض. وهو ما جعل الغرب يشعر بالتهديد الحقيقى وربما كان شعوره أقوى من شعوره بالتهديد الفاشى قبل ذلك بحوالى عشرين عاما. وهكذا أصبح شمال فيتنام مستندا إلى قوة بشرية هائلة هى الصين التى كانت تساعد فى التسليح والشئون اللوجستية مما جعل الفرنسيين يغالون فى محاولاتهم لقهر المد الشيوعى القادم من الشمال.
وهكذا إعترفت الدول الشيوعية بفيتنام الشمالية فى هانوى كممثلة لدولة فيتنام بينما إعترف الغرب بفيتنام الجنوبية فى سايجون كممثلة لدولة فيتنام. ومن الغريب أن رئيس هذه الدولة الشمالية كان رجلا كاثوليكيا فى مجتمع لا يدين بهذه الديانة. وهذه كانت خطوة غير موفقة حيث أن الثقافة المسيحية ليست متسعة القاعدة فى تلك البلاد.
وقد أدت هذه العوامل إلى تصاعد الرفض الشعبى للفرنسيين مع صعود نفوذ جبهة الفيات منه الشيوعية مما جعل الأمر يبدو فى عيون واشنطن – حيث تقع قيادة العالم الحر – وكأنه تهديد للتوازن بين القوتين العظميين. وقد أدى ذلك إلى البدء فى إرسال خبراء ومستشارين عسكريين أمريكيين الهدف من وجودهم تقديم النصح والتدريب للحكومة الجنوبية التى كانت على وئام مع الغرب وفى نفس الوقت تحاول كبح جماح المد الشيوعى فى ذلك البلد. وهكذا كانت بداية الولايات المتحدة مع فيتنام.
وقد أدى عجز فرنسا عن الوفاء بالتزامات الحرب وعدم قدرتها على إدارة عمليات قتالية بعيدة جدا عن الأراضى الفرنسية إلى أن تصورت القوة العظمى فى ذلك الوقت – الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية – أنها بقوتها وحسن تنظيم جيشها وتفوق سلاح طيرانها وسلاح المارينز قادرة على إخضاع هذا البلد الصغير المتخلف. وهكذا بدأت الولايات المتحدة فى مد فيتنام الجنوبية بالخبراء العسكريين لكى يساعدوا على قمع عصابات الفياتكونج التى كانت تعمل وتتمركز فى فيتنام الجنوبية، بالإضافة إلى أن وجود هؤلاء الخبراء العسكريين الأمريكيين سوف يرهب فيتنام الشمالية ويجعها ترعوى خلف حدودها. وفى ربيع عام 1954 كانت نهاية الحقبة الفرنسية فى فيتنام حيث تلقت القوات الفرنسية المحاصرة فى قلعة ديان بيان فو ضربة ساحقة من قوات الفيات منه بقيادة الجنرال الفيتنامى جياب وكانت المفاجأة صادمة حيث نجح الفيتناميون فى خداع الفرنسيين خديعة كاملة نتج عنها إفاقة جعلت فرنسا تقتنع أن لا مستقبل لها فى تلك البلاد فدخلت بالتالى فى مفاوضات للخروج النهائى من فيتنام. وقد خرجت.
ولكن هذا الأمر لم يكن يجد هوى فى نفس ضابط أمريكى سابق آخر له وزنه العسكرى الكبير هو الرئيس دوايت آيزنهاور الذى كان قد تقاعد. فقد صرح أكثر من مرة أن فيتنام لا تصلح لأن تكون مجالا لحرب تخوضها أمريكا حيث أنها لا تعرف هناك العدو من الحليف ولأنها أحراش بطبيعتها لا تصلح فيها الدبابات أو المعدات الثقيلة أى أن القتال سوف يكون فيها رجلا لرجل. ولكن أحدا لم يستمع لنصيحة رجل متقاعد.
واستمر الوضع هكذا حتى أراد الرئيس جونسون أن يتدخل بطريقة مباشرة وكان ذلك فى أغسطس عام 1964 أى قبيل الإنتخابات الأمريكية بثلاثة شهور لا غير. وكان أن إبتدع الأمريكيون حادثة بحرية شهيرة فى التاريخ العسكرى هى حادثة خليج تونكن وتتلخص وقائعها فى أن إحدى سفن البحرية الأمريكية كانت راسية فى خليج تونكن فى المياه الفيتنامية فقامت الإدارة الأمريكية بادعاء أن البحرية الفيتنامية الشمالية قد أطلقت عليها طوربيد لإغراقها. ورغم أن هذه الحادثة لم يثبت أبدا أنها قد وقعت إلا أن الحشد الإعلامى الأمريكى قد نجح فى دق طبول الحرب داخل الولايات المتحدة فانعقد الكونجرس وقرر منح الرئيس جونسون تفويضا للقيام بعمليات عسكرية فى جنوب شرق آسيا دون الرجوع للكونجرس ودون الحاجة إلى إعلان الحرب مع قيد واحد فقط هو ألا تستعمل الأسلحة النووية. والغريب أن الكونجرس أصدر هذا القرار بالإجماع تقريبا فلم يرفضه سوى عضوين فقط من الحزب الديموقراطى، حزب الرئيس جونسون !! وقد ظل هذا التفويض قائما حتى سحب بعد ذلك بسبع سنوات فى عهد الرئيس نيكسون. وهكذا أصبح الوجود العسكرى الأمريكى فى جنوب فيتنام شرعيا وله غطاء من الكونجرس.
وتشير الوثائق التى نشرت عن تلك الحقبة إلى أن وزير الدفاع روبرت ماكنمارا صرح لمعاونيه فى إجتماع سرى أننا فى فيتنام بنسبة 10% فقط للدفاع عن فيتنام الجنوبية وبنسبة 20% فقط لمحاصرة نفوذ الصين وبنسبة 70% للحفاظ على ماء وجه الولايات المتحدة !! وهو ما يعنى عدم الأهمية الإستراتيجية لهذه الدولة الصغيرة وأن الحرب كلها مناطها الكبرياء والهيبة !! وبالفعل يلاحظ المرء أن الجنود الذين أرسلوا إلى فيتنام كانوا من الطبقات الفقيرة والمعدمة وغير المتعلمين ومن السود رغم كون التجنيد فى ذلك الوقت إجباريا. والقوات الأمريكية كانت دائما فيما قبل تمثل المجتمع الأمريكى بأسره سواء أغنياء أو فقراء. وفى الحرب العالمية الثانية كانت كل طبقات المجتمع ممثلة فى القوات المحاربة. ولكن حرب فيتنام كانت هى أول مرة يظهر فيها التمييز الطبقى فى الجيش. وكلنا نعرف أن جورج بوش الإبن الشاب لم يحارب فى تلك الحرب بل قضى فترة تجنيده فى الحرس الوطنى داخل الولايات المتحدة وذلك بسبب ثروة والده ونفوذه، وأمثاله كثيرون. وكلنا نعرف أيضا أن بطل الملاكمة محمد على كلاى قد دخل السجن بسبب رفضه للخدمة الإجبارية فى فيتنام حيث أنه كان قادرا على دفع أتعاب محام ومحكمة تفصل فى دعواه.
ونتج عن تلك السياسة أيضا أن ذهب إلى فيتنام تشكيل خاص يسمى Tiger force يتكون من مجموعة من الجنود ذوى الطباع الوحشية والشذوذ فى التصرفات العنيفة حيث يقال مثلا أن بعضهم كانوا يرتدون سلاسل عنق يجمعون فيها آذان بشرية إقتطعوها من ضحاياهم !! وينسب إلى هذه الوحدة إرتكاب فظائع ومذابح ضد المدنيين فى فيتنام. وبالطبع لم يحاسب أحد على فعلته. وكان قائد كل القوات الأمريكية فى فيتنام هو الجنرال وستمورلاند وكان يرى أن هذه الحرب هى حرب مقدسة ينبغى لأمريكا أن تكسبها مهما كان الثمن.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن أقوى حلفاء الولايات المتحدة وأكثرهم إخلاصا وهى بريطانيا رفضت بعناد أن ترسل أى قوة ولو رمزية ولو حتى وحدة موسيقات إلى فيتنام لأن إنجلترا كانت ترى – كما كان أى عاقل يرى – أنها حرب عبثية لا طائل من ورائها ولا يمكن تحقيق أى نصر فيها. والآن أصبح جونسون وحده فى الميدان حيث أنه بالتفويض الذى حصل عليه من الكونجرس أصبح مسئولا وحد عن إدارة الحرب وبالتالى مسئولا وحده أيضا عن إحراز النتائج. وهذه النتائج كانت جد سيئة.
وقد بث التليفزيون الأمريكى فى تلك الفترة مشهد لرئيس بوليس فيتنام الجنوبية حليفة أمريكا وهو يقوم بنفسه وبمنتهى الهدوء بإعدام أحد أفراد الفيتكونج من المقاتلين الشيوعيين عقب القبض عليه وذلك فى الشارع المفتوح للمارة بإطلاق رصاصة مسدس على رأسه من مسافة لا تزيد عن 5 سنتيمترات وهو مقيد اليدين. وهذا المشهد كان له تأثير كبير فى بحث الأساس الأخلاقى لهذه الحرب دفاعا عن نظام قهرى بهذا الشكل المفضوح.
وبالتصاعد الطبيعى للأمور وصلت الأمور بتوالى طلبات الجنرال وستمورلاند على البنتاجون بالمزيد والمزيد من القوات حتى وصل عدد أفراد القوة الأمريكية فى وقت من الأوقات إلى 550 ألف جندى وضابط!! وهو رقم هائل لو أن المرء أخذ فى الإعتبار أن الولايات المتحدة لديها مسئوليات عسكرية أخرى فى العالم وأنها كانت طرفا فى حرب باردة ضد المعسكر الشرقى يمكن لها أن تنقلب إلى ساخنة فى أى لحظة. وقد كان الجنود الأمريكيون يتهكمون على إستراتيجية قائدهم وستمورلاند بأن أطلقوا عليه إسم Waste more men أى أنه متخصص فى إهلاك المزيد من القواات أو الرجال بلا جدوى !!
وقد صرح هذا الجنرال فى عام 1967 أن النصر قريب وأنه يرى شعاع النور فى نهاية النفق المظلم وكان ذلك فى عام 1967. ولما قام الصحفيون بزيارة الجبهة كتب بعضهم تهكما أن النور الوحيد الموجود فى نهاية النفق المظلم هو نور فيتنام الشمالية !! وعندما زار جونسون بنفسه الجبهة فى فترة أعياد الميلاد لعام 1967 وصرح بما يفيد أن النصر قريب ردت عليه فيتنام الشمالية وتنظيم الفيتكونج بهجوم واسع النطاق أسموه هجوم التيت أو رأس السنة وكان ذلك فى نهاية يناير 1968 وهو هجوم وصل بهم إلى سايجون نفسها عاصمة فيتنام الجنوبية بل إلى أبواب السفارة الأمريكية التى إستمات المدافعون عنها من الجنود الأمريكيين واستعملوا كل الأسلحة بكثافة حتى لا تسقط فى أيدى الشيوعيين ومن ذلك بالطبع ضربات الطيران. وقد كانت هذه فضيحة للقوات الأمريكية التى صرح رئيسها قبل شهر واحد فقط أن النصر بات وشيكا. وهجوم التيت هذا نتج عنه مالا يقل عن 60 ألف قتيل من الشماليين ولكنه أظهر هشاشة الموقف العسكرى الأمريكى أمام المجتمع الأمريكى داخل الولايات المتحدة. ومنذ هذه اللحظة أصبحت حرب فيتنام شأنا سياسيا داخليا فى أمريكا ونتجت ضغوط شعبية هائلة وحركات معارضة شبابية وطلابية ضد الحرب التى كان وقودها مجندين من الشباب. وفى النهاية إضطر الرئيس صاحب نبوءة النصر الوشيك إلى التنازل عن فرصته فى ترشيح نفسه فى إنتخابات 1968 لفترة أصلية ثانية وجاء ذلك فى حديث كاد أن يبكى فيه من فرط تأثره ورثائه لحاله. وتم ترشيح روبرت كيندى شقيق الرئيس الأسبق جون كيندى ليدخل السباق ضد ريتشارد نيكسون الذى كان يعد الناخبين بإنهاء الحرب فور توليه. كذلك قام الرئيس جونسون بتعيين الجنرال وستمورلاند رئيسا للأركان فى واشنطن مما يعنى سحبه من الجبهة بسبب فشله هناك وهو ما يرقى إلى درجة الفصل المستتر لضابط خسر معركته.
وفى هذه الأثناء كانت الأوامر تصدر للجنود الأمريكيين بالبحث عن الفيتكونج وتدميرهم Search and Destroy وكان ترقية الضباط تتم عن طريق عدد الجثث التى يبلغون عنها. وهذا العدد كان يطلق عليه Body Count فكان الضباط كثيرا ما يلجأون إلى قتل مدنيين غير محاربين أو فلاحين فى الحقول بغرض زيادة عدد الجثث. كذلك ثبت فى حالات متكررة أنهم كانوا يأخذون معهم المحاربين الفيتناميين الشماليين الأسري ثم يلقون بهم أحياء من الطائرة الهليكوبتر التى تعيدهم إلى القاعدة حتى يبلغوا عنهم كجثث ترفع من عدد القتلى. والطائرة الهليكوبتر كانت هى السلاح الرئيسى فى الحرب حيث أنها تتيح للجنود الأمريكيين سرعة الحركة والتفوق فى المناورة مع قوة نيران من أعلى لا يستطيع المدافعون أن يواجهوها ببنادقهم البسيطة. ومع ذلك فقد خسرت أمريكا المواجهة رغم هذه المميزات وخسرت معها أكثر من 5000 طائرة هليكوبتر فى هذه الحرب وهو رقم يشرح من تلقاء نفسه المصلحة الصناعية المالية الكامنة خلف إطالة زمن الحرب بهذه الطريقة المجنونة. وهذه المصلحة تمثلها المؤسسة المالية الصناعية التى تستفيد من عقود التسليح الحكومية ومن إقراض الحكومة لتمويل الحرب. وهى نفس المؤسسة التى حذر منها آيزنهاور ونبه إلى سيطرتها القوية على السياسة فى أمريكا.
وفيتنام كانت فى وضع فريد حيث أن الخصمين الشيوعيين كانا يؤيدانها فى حربها ضد الوليات المتحدة، ولكن بالطبع فإن التأييد السوفيتى كان هو الأكثر تأثيرا. فالدولتان الشيوعيتان لم تكنا على وفاق منذ الخلاف الذى دب بينهما فى عام 1958 عندما رفض ماوتسى تونج الوصاية السوفيتية التى أراد خروشوف أن يفرضها على الصين تحت ذريعة أن الإتحاد السوفيتى هو الشقيق الأكبر الذى تنضوى تحت لوائه كل الأحزاب الشيوعية فى العالم. والدعم السوفيتى لفيتنام كان دائما الحجة التى يرفعها الرئيس السادات فى وجه السوفيت حيث أنه كان يتهمهم بإمداد فيتنام الشمالية بأحدث الأسلحة بينما لا تحصل الدول العربية – التى هى ليست شيوعية – إلا على السلاح القديم الغير مؤثر. وهى أيضا نفس الحجة التى رفعها الرئيس الجزائرى بومدين فى وجه السوفيت عقب هزيمة 1967.
والجيش الفيتنامى الشمالى كان مصمما على ألا يخسر الحرب فقد كان قوامه حوالى 230 ألف رجل وجاءت خسائره فى النهاية فى حدود 650 ألف قتيل وهو مما يعنى أن فيتنام الشمالية قد جندت جيشين وأكثر أو ثلاثة جيوش وضحت بها بالكامل لكى تنتصر. وفى ذلك السياق صرح الجنرال جياب القائد الفيتنامى الشمالى المنتصر على فرنسا "بأننا سوف نهزم الأمريكيين سواء كان عددهم 50 ألف أو 500 ألف". وقد كان بالفعل وصدقت نبوءته. وإلى جانب هذه الخسائر على الجانب الفيتنامى كانت هناك خسائر فى المدنيين الفيتناميين قد تصل بالرقم النهائى للضحايا القتلى على الجانب الفيتنامى إلى حوالى 3 مليون إنسان !! أضف إلى ذلك قرابة ربع مليون شخص من كمبوديا المجاورة. بينما كانت الخسائر على الجانب الأمريكى حوالى 58 ألف قتيل بالإضافة إلى مئات الآلاف من المصابين والمشوهين.
ومن جرائم أمريكا فى تلك الحرب أيضا – تماما كما كان الأمر فى حرب كوريا – إستعمال سلاح النابالم بكثافة لإحراق أعضاء حركة الفيتكونج من المتمردين على حكومة فيتنام الجنوبية الحليفة. وهذه جريمة ضد الإنسانية لأن التشويه والإحراق والموت البطىء ليست من الأمور المسموح بها فى الحروب. وقد أثارت صورة نشرت فى الصحف عام 1970 لطفلة فى التاسعة تجرى عارية تماما للهروب من نيران النابالم وجسدها محترق بالكامل، أثارت الرأى العام فى العالم كله وضغطت بشدة على الرئيس نيكسون لكى يبحث عن حل سلمى تفاوضى للمشكلة. كذلك إستعمل الأمريكيون مادة سامة القصد منها قتل الحشائش والأشجار التى يختبىء داخل أحراشها المقاتلون الشماليون فكانت تلقى من الطائرات هذه المادة Agent Orange ووصل حجم ما ألقته الطائرات إلى 50 الف متر مكعب خلال الحرب. وهذه المادة تتسرب إلى التربة وتسمم المياه الجوفية وهى تمثل مشكلة بيئية حتى الآن. (فى عام 2012 أعلنت الولايات المتحدة عن مشروع مشترك مع فيتنام للعمل على معالجة مشكلة هذه المادة السامة فى التربة).
ومن ضمن الجرائم التى لم تتم فى تلك الحرب إستعمال القنابل النووية التى حكى كيسنجر فى مذكراته أن نيكسون قد فكر فى إستعمالها هناك ولكنه – أى كيسنجر – قد نصحه بالبعد عن هذا الخيار غير محمود العواقب.
ولم يقتصر العدوان الأمريكى على فيتنام فقط، بل قامت القوات الأمريكية والفيتنامية الجنوبية فى عام 1970 بغزو مفاجىء لدولة مجاورة هى كمبوديا تحت دعوى أن الفيتكونج يتخذون أراضى هذه الدولة نقطة إنطلاق لعملياتهم داخل فيتنام الجنوبية. ولكن الفشل الأمريكى إمتد ليشمل هذه العملية أيضا فقد أخلى الفيتكونج معسكراتهم قبل الهجوم ولم تجد القوات المشتركة الغازية إلا بقايا معسكرات مهجورة وبعض من المؤن ولكن لا مقاتلين.
وهذه كانت أيضا نقطة فاصلة فى تاريخ الحرب حيث أنها أشعلت حريقا جديدا داخل الولايات المتحدة بسبب وعد نيكسون بإنهاء الحرب فإذا به يوسعها ويمدها إلى دولة أخرى. وقد كان هذا الأمر مثار جدل بين نيكسون ومستشاره هنرى كيسنجر حيث أن كيسنجر ذكر بعد ذلك أن هذا الغزو كان قرارا خاطئا، لكن نيكسون رد عليه بقوله: "هنرى، تذكر قصة لوط فى الكتاب المقدس، لقد قال له الرب لا تنظر خلفك، إمض فى طريقك للأمام ولا تنظر خلفك"..
ثم إنفجرت قنبلة ثانية فى عام 1971 عندما سرب الخبير والمحلل الإستراتيجى دانيل إلزبرج آلاف الأوراق السرية الخاصة بوزارة الدفاع (البنتاجون) والتى تكشف عن عبثية الحرب فى فيتنام واستهتار الإدارة الأمريكية للرئيس جونسون بشأنها وأسباب دخولها وطريقة إدارتها حيث نشرت تلك الوثائق على الملأ فى جريدة النيويورك تايمز فى البداية وتوالى النشر فى جرائد لأخرى تباعا. وهكذا وقع المحظور وهو أن يعرف المواطن ودافع الضرائب الأمريكى شيئا حقيقيا عن تلك الحرب التى يفقد فيها إبنه وأخيه وصديقه وتفقد الزوجة زوجها والطفل أباه لأسباب إتضحت عبثيتها من خلال تلك الوثائق. وزاد الطين بلة أن المحكمة العليا الأمريكية قضت ببراءة دانيل إلزبرج من تهمة كشف أسرار الأمن القومى حيث أنها كيفت عمله على أساس ممارسة حق حرية المعلومات.. وهو حكم تاريخى له وزنه الهائل وقد كان يمثل صفعة لإدارة الرئيس نيكسون. وحصلت جريدة النيويورك تايمز على جائزة بوليتزر للأدب لذلك العام وهو مؤشر على رفض مجتمعى هائل ومتسع القاعدة للإستمرار فى تلك الحرب.
وما ظنت الولايات المتحدة أنها قادرة على تسويته بالقوة إضطرت إلى تسويته بالتفاوض المباشر فى باريس. وهذا الأمر فهمته فيتنام الشمالية بعمق ووضوح، فكان مفاوضها يعمد إلى قطع المفاوضات للضغط على هنرى كيسنجر مما يجعل ثائرة الأمريكيين تصل إلى عنان السماء فيزيدون من غاراتهم حتى يجبروا الفيتناميين على الرجوع للتفاوض وهكذا.. وكان الغرض من ذلك هو خلق ضغط داخلى أمريكى على الإدارة الأمريكية لكى تنهى الحرب بأسرع ما يمكن، وقد قام لى دوك ثو المفاوض الفيتنامى بهذه المهمة ببراعة فائقة.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة ترد بمنتهى العنف على قطع التفاوض فتارة كانت تكثف الغارات وتارة أخرى كانت تقوم بتلغيم الموانى الفيتنامية فقد كانت تريد الخروج السريع ولكن دون فقدان ماء الوجه.. وهو ما لم يتسن لها. لقد كانت الخسارة والهزيمة فاجعة والخروج مهينا حتى أن جنود البحرية الأمريكية إضطروا إلى إلقاء طائراتهم الهليكوبتر من ظهر حاملة الطائرات فى البحر ليفسحوا مكانا على السفينة الخارجة من فيتنام الجنوبية للأمريكيين والفيتناميين المصاحبين لهم. وكان سقوط سايجون فى أيدى القوات الشيوعية مشهدا مهينا لكل الأرواح والأموال الأمريكية التى أهدرت فى ذلك البلد ذى الظاهر الوادع الهادىء.
وفى النهاية توصل الطرفان الأمريكى والفيتنامى الشمالى إلى إتفاق فى شهر مارس عام 1973 يكفل لأمريكا الخروج من فيتنام بالكامل مع تحميل مسئولية الدفاع عن فيتنام الجنوبية لجيشها الذى حصل جنرالاته الفاسدون على أموال طائلة وأسلحة هائلة جعلت من هذا الجيش رابع قوة طيران على مستوى العالم فى ذلك الوقت.. إلا أن العزيمة والتصميم على النصر على الجانب الآخر كانت عوامل أشد أثرا فى حسم الصراع لصالح الشمال حيث دانت كل فيتنام لحكم الشيوعيين فى أبريل 1975 وانتهت القصة الحزينة.
جرائم الغرب الآسيوية/ فيتنام
بهذه الكلمات المعبرة وصف الرئيس الأمريكى ليندون جونسون الحرب فى فيتنام والتى كان هو الذى إنزلق إليها بل وسعى إلى إشعالها بحادثة خليج تونكن التى إتضح فيما بعد أنها كانت مجرد ذريعة لدخول أمريكا حربا إعتقد جنرالاتها أنها نزهة تنتهى سريعا بنصر خاطف فتحولت بفعل الغطرسة والعجز عن إستيعاب دروس التاريخ إلى مستنقع غرق فيه الجيش الأمريكى وأغرق معه المجتمع الأمريكى بأسره لمدة 8 سنوات كاملة مما كلف الرئيس جونسون منصبه حيث إضطر إلى التخلى عن الترشح لفترة رئاسة أصلية ثانية وأضاع تاريخه السياسى الحافل بالإصلاحات الداخلية وجعل منه رئيسا إرتبط إسمه بالفشل وسوء التقدير والأكاذيب. فما هى القصة؟
منذ نجحت فرنسا فى بسط سيادتها على تلك المنطقة فى منتصف القرن التاسع عشر نشأ ما عرف فيما بعد بالهند الصينية الفرنسية حيث كانت تلك المنطقة التى تشمل كمبوديا وفيتنام ولاوس تقع محشورة بين الهند البريطانية والصين ولهذا سميت الهند الصينية. وكانت الثورات والقلاقل تقع ضد الإحتلال الفرنسى على فترات متقاربة ولكن الفرنسيين كانوا بوجه عام قادرين على الإحتفاظ بالمستعمرة حتى قامت الحرب العالمية الثانية. وهذه الحرب العالمية التى بدأت فى أوروبا نتج عنها هزيمة سريعة لفرنسا أمام الجيوش الألمانية وبالتالى أصبحت مستعمراتها واقعة تحت سلطة الحكومة الفرنسية الموالية لألمانيا، حكومة فيشى. ولما كانت ألمانيا حليفة لليابان فقد نتج عن ذلك أن الفرنسيين المحليين فى الهند الصينية تحالفوا مع اليابانيين لإدارة البلاد مما أثار عليهم حفيظة أهلها حيث أن اليابانيين لم يكنوا أبدا من أصحاب القلوب الرحيمة فى إحتلالهم للبلاد التى قاموا باحتلالها. كذلك فإنه من الغرائب أن نتج عن ذلك تشكيل تنظيم (الفيات منه) الذى كان ماركسيا يحارب اليابانيين بأموال أمريكية، حيث أن أمريكا كانت تمول كل من يقف ضد اليابان ليعجل بنصرها !! (تكرر هذا النموذج فيما بعد أثناء الحرب الباردة فمولت أمريكا تنظيمات إسلامية متطرفة لتساعد على هزيمة الشيوعية ثم إنقلبت عليهم بعد النصر فأصبحوا أعداءا).. وقبيل نهاية الحرب تم تحرير فرنسا وأصبحت حكومة باريس مناوئة لألمانيا ومن ثم مناوئة أيضا لليابان مما جعل اليابانيين يقررون التخلص من الحكم الفرنسى أو الشريك الفرنسى فى الحكم فقاموا باعتقال جميع المسئولين الفرنسيين وأصبحت البلاد فى يد يابانية خالصة. إلا أن هذا الوضع لم يكتب له الدوام فقد هزمت اليابان بسرعة واستسلمت بعد أيام قليلة من إلقاء قنبلتى هيروشيما وناجازاكى وعادت فرنسا قوة إستعمارية فى الهند الصينية. ولكن قطار الزمان لا يعود إلى الوراء، فقد كانت الشعوب قد تنبهت إلى حقيقة الإستعمار وأثره فى سلب ثروات البلاد وإنشاء مجتمع أوليجاركى وطنى محلى يحظى بكل شىء بينما باقى أفراد الشعب ليس لهم نصيب فى شىء. وهكذا بدات حركة مناهضة الإستعمار الفرنسى تشتد عودا وتقوى تسليحا بالذات فى ظل الإنقسام الدولى الذى صاحب نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية وبزوغ الإتحاد السوفيتى قوة عظمى تحولت بعد قليل إلى قوة ذرية تنافس الولايات المتحدة وتناطحها رأسا برأس. وهكذا نشأت فكرة الإستقلال عن فرنسا وكان رئيس منظمة الفيات منه هو القائد التاريخى هوشى منه الذى أعلن عن قيام دولة فيتنام الحرة بعد نهاية الحرب مباشرة. وكانت العواطف متأججة والشعور القومى فى أوجه فانضمت أعداد كبيرة لمنظمة الفيات منه ونجحت فى بسط نفوذها على كامل فيتنام حيث أن الحكومة الفرنسية التى خرجت لتوها من مهانة الإحتلال الألمانى لم تكن بعد تقوى على الوقوف فى مواجهة ضد تلك المنظمة ذات الروح القتالية المرتفعة والتى تمرست خلال الحرب على عمليات العصابات والهجمات السريعة والإختفاء والتمويه والإستفادة من المميزات الطبوجرافية وحفر الخنادق إلى أربعة أدوار تحت الأرض وإخفاء السلاح وكلها مميزات لم يحسب حسابها كل من وقف ضد هذه الجبهة فيما أعقب ذلك من أحداث.
وكما كان الحال فى كوريا وقع أمر مشابه فى فيتنام. فقد إتفق الفريقان المنتصران فى الحرب العالمية فى البداية على أن فيتنام هى من مناطق النفوذ الغربى (الفرنسى) ولكن نظرا لعدم قدرة فرنسا فى ذلك الوقت تم تقسيم البلاد بين الصين الوطنية شمالا والإنجليز جنوبا. وكان خط التقسيم – كما فى كوريا أيضا – هو خط عرض جغرافى لا أساس له. وفى حالة فيتنام كان هو خط العرض 17. وبعد قليل كان الفرنسيون قد أعادوا تنظيم قوتهم فاحتلوا مدينة هانوى فى الشمال والتى كانت معقل الحركة الشيوعية بقيادة منظمة فيات منه.
ولا ينسى المرء أن يذكر هنا أن هوشى منه قائد الفيات منه والمتعلم فى فرنسا فى بداية العشرينات من القرن العشرين كان من أوائل من تنبهوا إلى الدور الهائل للتعليم فى إنشاء الدول فكان هدفه منذ البداية محو الأمية وكان هذا عاملا مميزا لفيتنام عن كل الدول المشابهة لها أو التى تقع حولها.
وكما كان الحال أيضا فى كوريا فقد مثل العام 1949 نقطة تحول هائلة فى كل تاريخ القرن العشرين وهو العام الذى شهد تفجير أول قنبلة ذرية سوفيتية وصعود الحزب الشيوعى الصينى ليمسك بالسلطة على أكبر تجمع سكانى على وجه الأرض. وهو ما جعل الغرب يشعر بالتهديد الحقيقى وربما كان شعوره أقوى من شعوره بالتهديد الفاشى قبل ذلك بحوالى عشرين عاما. وهكذا أصبح شمال فيتنام مستندا إلى قوة بشرية هائلة هى الصين التى كانت تساعد فى التسليح والشئون اللوجستية مما جعل الفرنسيين يغالون فى محاولاتهم لقهر المد الشيوعى القادم من الشمال.
وهكذا إعترفت الدول الشيوعية بفيتنام الشمالية فى هانوى كممثلة لدولة فيتنام بينما إعترف الغرب بفيتنام الجنوبية فى سايجون كممثلة لدولة فيتنام. ومن الغريب أن رئيس هذه الدولة الشمالية كان رجلا كاثوليكيا فى مجتمع لا يدين بهذه الديانة. وهذه كانت خطوة غير موفقة حيث أن الثقافة المسيحية ليست متسعة القاعدة فى تلك البلاد.
وقد أدت هذه العوامل إلى تصاعد الرفض الشعبى للفرنسيين مع صعود نفوذ جبهة الفيات منه الشيوعية مما جعل الأمر يبدو فى عيون واشنطن – حيث تقع قيادة العالم الحر – وكأنه تهديد للتوازن بين القوتين العظميين. وقد أدى ذلك إلى البدء فى إرسال خبراء ومستشارين عسكريين أمريكيين الهدف من وجودهم تقديم النصح والتدريب للحكومة الجنوبية التى كانت على وئام مع الغرب وفى نفس الوقت تحاول كبح جماح المد الشيوعى فى ذلك البلد. وهكذا كانت بداية الولايات المتحدة مع فيتنام.
وقد أدى عجز فرنسا عن الوفاء بالتزامات الحرب وعدم قدرتها على إدارة عمليات قتالية بعيدة جدا عن الأراضى الفرنسية إلى أن تصورت القوة العظمى فى ذلك الوقت – الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية – أنها بقوتها وحسن تنظيم جيشها وتفوق سلاح طيرانها وسلاح المارينز قادرة على إخضاع هذا البلد الصغير المتخلف. وهكذا بدأت الولايات المتحدة فى مد فيتنام الجنوبية بالخبراء العسكريين لكى يساعدوا على قمع عصابات الفياتكونج التى كانت تعمل وتتمركز فى فيتنام الجنوبية، بالإضافة إلى أن وجود هؤلاء الخبراء العسكريين الأمريكيين سوف يرهب فيتنام الشمالية ويجعها ترعوى خلف حدودها. وفى ربيع عام 1954 كانت نهاية الحقبة الفرنسية فى فيتنام حيث تلقت القوات الفرنسية المحاصرة فى قلعة ديان بيان فو ضربة ساحقة من قوات الفيات منه بقيادة الجنرال الفيتنامى جياب وكانت المفاجأة صادمة حيث نجح الفيتناميون فى خداع الفرنسيين خديعة كاملة نتج عنها إفاقة جعلت فرنسا تقتنع أن لا مستقبل لها فى تلك البلاد فدخلت بالتالى فى مفاوضات للخروج النهائى من فيتنام. وقد خرجت.
ولكن هذا الأمر لم يكن يجد هوى فى نفس ضابط أمريكى سابق آخر له وزنه العسكرى الكبير هو الرئيس دوايت آيزنهاور الذى كان قد تقاعد. فقد صرح أكثر من مرة أن فيتنام لا تصلح لأن تكون مجالا لحرب تخوضها أمريكا حيث أنها لا تعرف هناك العدو من الحليف ولأنها أحراش بطبيعتها لا تصلح فيها الدبابات أو المعدات الثقيلة أى أن القتال سوف يكون فيها رجلا لرجل. ولكن أحدا لم يستمع لنصيحة رجل متقاعد.
واستمر الوضع هكذا حتى أراد الرئيس جونسون أن يتدخل بطريقة مباشرة وكان ذلك فى أغسطس عام 1964 أى قبيل الإنتخابات الأمريكية بثلاثة شهور لا غير. وكان أن إبتدع الأمريكيون حادثة بحرية شهيرة فى التاريخ العسكرى هى حادثة خليج تونكن وتتلخص وقائعها فى أن إحدى سفن البحرية الأمريكية كانت راسية فى خليج تونكن فى المياه الفيتنامية فقامت الإدارة الأمريكية بادعاء أن البحرية الفيتنامية الشمالية قد أطلقت عليها طوربيد لإغراقها. ورغم أن هذه الحادثة لم يثبت أبدا أنها قد وقعت إلا أن الحشد الإعلامى الأمريكى قد نجح فى دق طبول الحرب داخل الولايات المتحدة فانعقد الكونجرس وقرر منح الرئيس جونسون تفويضا للقيام بعمليات عسكرية فى جنوب شرق آسيا دون الرجوع للكونجرس ودون الحاجة إلى إعلان الحرب مع قيد واحد فقط هو ألا تستعمل الأسلحة النووية. والغريب أن الكونجرس أصدر هذا القرار بالإجماع تقريبا فلم يرفضه سوى عضوين فقط من الحزب الديموقراطى، حزب الرئيس جونسون !! وقد ظل هذا التفويض قائما حتى سحب بعد ذلك بسبع سنوات فى عهد الرئيس نيكسون. وهكذا أصبح الوجود العسكرى الأمريكى فى جنوب فيتنام شرعيا وله غطاء من الكونجرس.
وتشير الوثائق التى نشرت عن تلك الحقبة إلى أن وزير الدفاع روبرت ماكنمارا صرح لمعاونيه فى إجتماع سرى أننا فى فيتنام بنسبة 10% فقط للدفاع عن فيتنام الجنوبية وبنسبة 20% فقط لمحاصرة نفوذ الصين وبنسبة 70% للحفاظ على ماء وجه الولايات المتحدة !! وهو ما يعنى عدم الأهمية الإستراتيجية لهذه الدولة الصغيرة وأن الحرب كلها مناطها الكبرياء والهيبة !! وبالفعل يلاحظ المرء أن الجنود الذين أرسلوا إلى فيتنام كانوا من الطبقات الفقيرة والمعدمة وغير المتعلمين ومن السود رغم كون التجنيد فى ذلك الوقت إجباريا. والقوات الأمريكية كانت دائما فيما قبل تمثل المجتمع الأمريكى بأسره سواء أغنياء أو فقراء. وفى الحرب العالمية الثانية كانت كل طبقات المجتمع ممثلة فى القوات المحاربة. ولكن حرب فيتنام كانت هى أول مرة يظهر فيها التمييز الطبقى فى الجيش. وكلنا نعرف أن جورج بوش الإبن الشاب لم يحارب فى تلك الحرب بل قضى فترة تجنيده فى الحرس الوطنى داخل الولايات المتحدة وذلك بسبب ثروة والده ونفوذه، وأمثاله كثيرون. وكلنا نعرف أيضا أن بطل الملاكمة محمد على كلاى قد دخل السجن بسبب رفضه للخدمة الإجبارية فى فيتنام حيث أنه كان قادرا على دفع أتعاب محام ومحكمة تفصل فى دعواه.
ونتج عن تلك السياسة أيضا أن ذهب إلى فيتنام تشكيل خاص يسمى Tiger force يتكون من مجموعة من الجنود ذوى الطباع الوحشية والشذوذ فى التصرفات العنيفة حيث يقال مثلا أن بعضهم كانوا يرتدون سلاسل عنق يجمعون فيها آذان بشرية إقتطعوها من ضحاياهم !! وينسب إلى هذه الوحدة إرتكاب فظائع ومذابح ضد المدنيين فى فيتنام. وبالطبع لم يحاسب أحد على فعلته. وكان قائد كل القوات الأمريكية فى فيتنام هو الجنرال وستمورلاند وكان يرى أن هذه الحرب هى حرب مقدسة ينبغى لأمريكا أن تكسبها مهما كان الثمن.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن أقوى حلفاء الولايات المتحدة وأكثرهم إخلاصا وهى بريطانيا رفضت بعناد أن ترسل أى قوة ولو رمزية ولو حتى وحدة موسيقات إلى فيتنام لأن إنجلترا كانت ترى – كما كان أى عاقل يرى – أنها حرب عبثية لا طائل من ورائها ولا يمكن تحقيق أى نصر فيها. والآن أصبح جونسون وحده فى الميدان حيث أنه بالتفويض الذى حصل عليه من الكونجرس أصبح مسئولا وحد عن إدارة الحرب وبالتالى مسئولا وحده أيضا عن إحراز النتائج. وهذه النتائج كانت جد سيئة.
وقد بث التليفزيون الأمريكى فى تلك الفترة مشهد لرئيس بوليس فيتنام الجنوبية حليفة أمريكا وهو يقوم بنفسه وبمنتهى الهدوء بإعدام أحد أفراد الفيتكونج من المقاتلين الشيوعيين عقب القبض عليه وذلك فى الشارع المفتوح للمارة بإطلاق رصاصة مسدس على رأسه من مسافة لا تزيد عن 5 سنتيمترات وهو مقيد اليدين. وهذا المشهد كان له تأثير كبير فى بحث الأساس الأخلاقى لهذه الحرب دفاعا عن نظام قهرى بهذا الشكل المفضوح.
وبالتصاعد الطبيعى للأمور وصلت الأمور بتوالى طلبات الجنرال وستمورلاند على البنتاجون بالمزيد والمزيد من القوات حتى وصل عدد أفراد القوة الأمريكية فى وقت من الأوقات إلى 550 ألف جندى وضابط!! وهو رقم هائل لو أن المرء أخذ فى الإعتبار أن الولايات المتحدة لديها مسئوليات عسكرية أخرى فى العالم وأنها كانت طرفا فى حرب باردة ضد المعسكر الشرقى يمكن لها أن تنقلب إلى ساخنة فى أى لحظة. وقد كان الجنود الأمريكيون يتهكمون على إستراتيجية قائدهم وستمورلاند بأن أطلقوا عليه إسم Waste more men أى أنه متخصص فى إهلاك المزيد من القواات أو الرجال بلا جدوى !!
وقد صرح هذا الجنرال فى عام 1967 أن النصر قريب وأنه يرى شعاع النور فى نهاية النفق المظلم وكان ذلك فى عام 1967. ولما قام الصحفيون بزيارة الجبهة كتب بعضهم تهكما أن النور الوحيد الموجود فى نهاية النفق المظلم هو نور فيتنام الشمالية !! وعندما زار جونسون بنفسه الجبهة فى فترة أعياد الميلاد لعام 1967 وصرح بما يفيد أن النصر قريب ردت عليه فيتنام الشمالية وتنظيم الفيتكونج بهجوم واسع النطاق أسموه هجوم التيت أو رأس السنة وكان ذلك فى نهاية يناير 1968 وهو هجوم وصل بهم إلى سايجون نفسها عاصمة فيتنام الجنوبية بل إلى أبواب السفارة الأمريكية التى إستمات المدافعون عنها من الجنود الأمريكيين واستعملوا كل الأسلحة بكثافة حتى لا تسقط فى أيدى الشيوعيين ومن ذلك بالطبع ضربات الطيران. وقد كانت هذه فضيحة للقوات الأمريكية التى صرح رئيسها قبل شهر واحد فقط أن النصر بات وشيكا. وهجوم التيت هذا نتج عنه مالا يقل عن 60 ألف قتيل من الشماليين ولكنه أظهر هشاشة الموقف العسكرى الأمريكى أمام المجتمع الأمريكى داخل الولايات المتحدة. ومنذ هذه اللحظة أصبحت حرب فيتنام شأنا سياسيا داخليا فى أمريكا ونتجت ضغوط شعبية هائلة وحركات معارضة شبابية وطلابية ضد الحرب التى كان وقودها مجندين من الشباب. وفى النهاية إضطر الرئيس صاحب نبوءة النصر الوشيك إلى التنازل عن فرصته فى ترشيح نفسه فى إنتخابات 1968 لفترة أصلية ثانية وجاء ذلك فى حديث كاد أن يبكى فيه من فرط تأثره ورثائه لحاله. وتم ترشيح روبرت كيندى شقيق الرئيس الأسبق جون كيندى ليدخل السباق ضد ريتشارد نيكسون الذى كان يعد الناخبين بإنهاء الحرب فور توليه. كذلك قام الرئيس جونسون بتعيين الجنرال وستمورلاند رئيسا للأركان فى واشنطن مما يعنى سحبه من الجبهة بسبب فشله هناك وهو ما يرقى إلى درجة الفصل المستتر لضابط خسر معركته.
وفى هذه الأثناء كانت الأوامر تصدر للجنود الأمريكيين بالبحث عن الفيتكونج وتدميرهم Search and Destroy وكان ترقية الضباط تتم عن طريق عدد الجثث التى يبلغون عنها. وهذا العدد كان يطلق عليه Body Count فكان الضباط كثيرا ما يلجأون إلى قتل مدنيين غير محاربين أو فلاحين فى الحقول بغرض زيادة عدد الجثث. كذلك ثبت فى حالات متكررة أنهم كانوا يأخذون معهم المحاربين الفيتناميين الشماليين الأسري ثم يلقون بهم أحياء من الطائرة الهليكوبتر التى تعيدهم إلى القاعدة حتى يبلغوا عنهم كجثث ترفع من عدد القتلى. والطائرة الهليكوبتر كانت هى السلاح الرئيسى فى الحرب حيث أنها تتيح للجنود الأمريكيين سرعة الحركة والتفوق فى المناورة مع قوة نيران من أعلى لا يستطيع المدافعون أن يواجهوها ببنادقهم البسيطة. ومع ذلك فقد خسرت أمريكا المواجهة رغم هذه المميزات وخسرت معها أكثر من 5000 طائرة هليكوبتر فى هذه الحرب وهو رقم يشرح من تلقاء نفسه المصلحة الصناعية المالية الكامنة خلف إطالة زمن الحرب بهذه الطريقة المجنونة. وهذه المصلحة تمثلها المؤسسة المالية الصناعية التى تستفيد من عقود التسليح الحكومية ومن إقراض الحكومة لتمويل الحرب. وهى نفس المؤسسة التى حذر منها آيزنهاور ونبه إلى سيطرتها القوية على السياسة فى أمريكا.
وفيتنام كانت فى وضع فريد حيث أن الخصمين الشيوعيين كانا يؤيدانها فى حربها ضد الوليات المتحدة، ولكن بالطبع فإن التأييد السوفيتى كان هو الأكثر تأثيرا. فالدولتان الشيوعيتان لم تكنا على وفاق منذ الخلاف الذى دب بينهما فى عام 1958 عندما رفض ماوتسى تونج الوصاية السوفيتية التى أراد خروشوف أن يفرضها على الصين تحت ذريعة أن الإتحاد السوفيتى هو الشقيق الأكبر الذى تنضوى تحت لوائه كل الأحزاب الشيوعية فى العالم. والدعم السوفيتى لفيتنام كان دائما الحجة التى يرفعها الرئيس السادات فى وجه السوفيت حيث أنه كان يتهمهم بإمداد فيتنام الشمالية بأحدث الأسلحة بينما لا تحصل الدول العربية – التى هى ليست شيوعية – إلا على السلاح القديم الغير مؤثر. وهى أيضا نفس الحجة التى رفعها الرئيس الجزائرى بومدين فى وجه السوفيت عقب هزيمة 1967.
والجيش الفيتنامى الشمالى كان مصمما على ألا يخسر الحرب فقد كان قوامه حوالى 230 ألف رجل وجاءت خسائره فى النهاية فى حدود 650 ألف قتيل وهو مما يعنى أن فيتنام الشمالية قد جندت جيشين وأكثر أو ثلاثة جيوش وضحت بها بالكامل لكى تنتصر. وفى ذلك السياق صرح الجنرال جياب القائد الفيتنامى الشمالى المنتصر على فرنسا "بأننا سوف نهزم الأمريكيين سواء كان عددهم 50 ألف أو 500 ألف". وقد كان بالفعل وصدقت نبوءته. وإلى جانب هذه الخسائر على الجانب الفيتنامى كانت هناك خسائر فى المدنيين الفيتناميين قد تصل بالرقم النهائى للضحايا القتلى على الجانب الفيتنامى إلى حوالى 3 مليون إنسان !! أضف إلى ذلك قرابة ربع مليون شخص من كمبوديا المجاورة. بينما كانت الخسائر على الجانب الأمريكى حوالى 58 ألف قتيل بالإضافة إلى مئات الآلاف من المصابين والمشوهين.
ومن جرائم أمريكا فى تلك الحرب أيضا – تماما كما كان الأمر فى حرب كوريا – إستعمال سلاح النابالم بكثافة لإحراق أعضاء حركة الفيتكونج من المتمردين على حكومة فيتنام الجنوبية الحليفة. وهذه جريمة ضد الإنسانية لأن التشويه والإحراق والموت البطىء ليست من الأمور المسموح بها فى الحروب. وقد أثارت صورة نشرت فى الصحف عام 1970 لطفلة فى التاسعة تجرى عارية تماما للهروب من نيران النابالم وجسدها محترق بالكامل، أثارت الرأى العام فى العالم كله وضغطت بشدة على الرئيس نيكسون لكى يبحث عن حل سلمى تفاوضى للمشكلة. كذلك إستعمل الأمريكيون مادة سامة القصد منها قتل الحشائش والأشجار التى يختبىء داخل أحراشها المقاتلون الشماليون فكانت تلقى من الطائرات هذه المادة Agent Orange ووصل حجم ما ألقته الطائرات إلى 50 الف متر مكعب خلال الحرب. وهذه المادة تتسرب إلى التربة وتسمم المياه الجوفية وهى تمثل مشكلة بيئية حتى الآن. (فى عام 2012 أعلنت الولايات المتحدة عن مشروع مشترك مع فيتنام للعمل على معالجة مشكلة هذه المادة السامة فى التربة).
ومن ضمن الجرائم التى لم تتم فى تلك الحرب إستعمال القنابل النووية التى حكى كيسنجر فى مذكراته أن نيكسون قد فكر فى إستعمالها هناك ولكنه – أى كيسنجر – قد نصحه بالبعد عن هذا الخيار غير محمود العواقب.
ولم يقتصر العدوان الأمريكى على فيتنام فقط، بل قامت القوات الأمريكية والفيتنامية الجنوبية فى عام 1970 بغزو مفاجىء لدولة مجاورة هى كمبوديا تحت دعوى أن الفيتكونج يتخذون أراضى هذه الدولة نقطة إنطلاق لعملياتهم داخل فيتنام الجنوبية. ولكن الفشل الأمريكى إمتد ليشمل هذه العملية أيضا فقد أخلى الفيتكونج معسكراتهم قبل الهجوم ولم تجد القوات المشتركة الغازية إلا بقايا معسكرات مهجورة وبعض من المؤن ولكن لا مقاتلين.
وهذه كانت أيضا نقطة فاصلة فى تاريخ الحرب حيث أنها أشعلت حريقا جديدا داخل الولايات المتحدة بسبب وعد نيكسون بإنهاء الحرب فإذا به يوسعها ويمدها إلى دولة أخرى. وقد كان هذا الأمر مثار جدل بين نيكسون ومستشاره هنرى كيسنجر حيث أن كيسنجر ذكر بعد ذلك أن هذا الغزو كان قرارا خاطئا، لكن نيكسون رد عليه بقوله: "هنرى، تذكر قصة لوط فى الكتاب المقدس، لقد قال له الرب لا تنظر خلفك، إمض فى طريقك للأمام ولا تنظر خلفك"..
ثم إنفجرت قنبلة ثانية فى عام 1971 عندما سرب الخبير والمحلل الإستراتيجى دانيل إلزبرج آلاف الأوراق السرية الخاصة بوزارة الدفاع (البنتاجون) والتى تكشف عن عبثية الحرب فى فيتنام واستهتار الإدارة الأمريكية للرئيس جونسون بشأنها وأسباب دخولها وطريقة إدارتها حيث نشرت تلك الوثائق على الملأ فى جريدة النيويورك تايمز فى البداية وتوالى النشر فى جرائد لأخرى تباعا. وهكذا وقع المحظور وهو أن يعرف المواطن ودافع الضرائب الأمريكى شيئا حقيقيا عن تلك الحرب التى يفقد فيها إبنه وأخيه وصديقه وتفقد الزوجة زوجها والطفل أباه لأسباب إتضحت عبثيتها من خلال تلك الوثائق. وزاد الطين بلة أن المحكمة العليا الأمريكية قضت ببراءة دانيل إلزبرج من تهمة كشف أسرار الأمن القومى حيث أنها كيفت عمله على أساس ممارسة حق حرية المعلومات.. وهو حكم تاريخى له وزنه الهائل وقد كان يمثل صفعة لإدارة الرئيس نيكسون. وحصلت جريدة النيويورك تايمز على جائزة بوليتزر للأدب لذلك العام وهو مؤشر على رفض مجتمعى هائل ومتسع القاعدة للإستمرار فى تلك الحرب.
وما ظنت الولايات المتحدة أنها قادرة على تسويته بالقوة إضطرت إلى تسويته بالتفاوض المباشر فى باريس. وهذا الأمر فهمته فيتنام الشمالية بعمق ووضوح، فكان مفاوضها يعمد إلى قطع المفاوضات للضغط على هنرى كيسنجر مما يجعل ثائرة الأمريكيين تصل إلى عنان السماء فيزيدون من غاراتهم حتى يجبروا الفيتناميين على الرجوع للتفاوض وهكذا.. وكان الغرض من ذلك هو خلق ضغط داخلى أمريكى على الإدارة الأمريكية لكى تنهى الحرب بأسرع ما يمكن، وقد قام لى دوك ثو المفاوض الفيتنامى بهذه المهمة ببراعة فائقة.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة ترد بمنتهى العنف على قطع التفاوض فتارة كانت تكثف الغارات وتارة أخرى كانت تقوم بتلغيم الموانى الفيتنامية فقد كانت تريد الخروج السريع ولكن دون فقدان ماء الوجه.. وهو ما لم يتسن لها. لقد كانت الخسارة والهزيمة فاجعة والخروج مهينا حتى أن جنود البحرية الأمريكية إضطروا إلى إلقاء طائراتهم الهليكوبتر من ظهر حاملة الطائرات فى البحر ليفسحوا مكانا على السفينة الخارجة من فيتنام الجنوبية للأمريكيين والفيتناميين المصاحبين لهم. وكان سقوط سايجون فى أيدى القوات الشيوعية مشهدا مهينا لكل الأرواح والأموال الأمريكية التى أهدرت فى ذلك البلد ذى الظاهر الوادع الهادىء.
وفى النهاية توصل الطرفان الأمريكى والفيتنامى الشمالى إلى إتفاق فى شهر مارس عام 1973 يكفل لأمريكا الخروج من فيتنام بالكامل مع تحميل مسئولية الدفاع عن فيتنام الجنوبية لجيشها الذى حصل جنرالاته الفاسدون على أموال طائلة وأسلحة هائلة جعلت من هذا الجيش رابع قوة طيران على مستوى العالم فى ذلك الوقت.. إلا أن العزيمة والتصميم على النصر على الجانب الآخر كانت عوامل أشد أثرا فى حسم الصراع لصالح الشمال حيث دانت كل فيتنام لحكم الشيوعيين فى أبريل 1975 وانتهت القصة الحزينة.
